Who Should I Invite To My Wedding?

Who you invite to your wedding is a personal decision and a common dilemma with most couples, especially when the budget or site capacity is limited. But here is a basic rule of thumb: Parents, grand parents, siblings and their families, bridal party and their spouses are expected invitees. From there, the invitation list includes aunts, uncles, and very close friends. If your budget and site allow, invite distant relatives, your boss, co-workers, and clients (if you own a business). When trying to reduce your list, the main questions you should ask yourself is when was the last time you spoke with this person? If a distant relative, what is the likelihood that he/she would attend? For these guests, consider sending a wedding announcement versus an invitation. Simply said, invitations should go to people whose presence the bride and groom value!
